This is one of my favorite GIJOE illustrations I've done. This was for the their special 12 inch toy line. I had a lot of fun doing this piece. It was all done in Photoshop. I had to produce two different versions, one regular and then one night vision. They ended up using the regular and then utilized the night vision for some later posters. This is a commissioned piece I did for Hasbro Toys and Lucas Film LTD. It was for the Star Wars Unleashed toy line. It was a great project. To give a little background, I always start off with a pencil sketch. Most of the time its always digital, but I really like the texture that you get with a convintional pencil. Then with the help of the great program Photoshop I do my best to make the pencil come alive. Please tell me what you think I would love to hear about it.
